Frail like dreams, I had crossed a thought – thin line I’d never seen. I know that dreams turn nails to leaves and this deceiver is someone I can’t keep at bay. So I blame me whenever I let my ghost stray. I blame the honest man with his heart in his hand. And I come harboring secrets in the night. Knowing that beneath this skin lies a man waiting to come alive. This is the sound thoughts make like ballads from the barrel of a gun. And me “at my sky blue trades”† fade back to where I came from. I blame the honest man with his heart in his hand.

Such a fun demo, glad I discovered this version when I did. Also love Chris' track, even though he kinda sounds like Ed from Ed, Edd, n Eddy at times hahaha (no offense Chris, love ya man). I love Equalized, Split, and Better Half, but Caroline is such a cool track with that killer bassline. huskers_fan99

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
