Arguably the best melodic hardcore band of the early 1990s not just in Louisville but everywhere else. The songwriting is dynamic, the musicianship impressive, and the vocals both beautiful and intense. Gone before their time, but it's okay because we got Elliott and By the Grace of God from Falling Forward's unfortunate demise. LJDJD4

it's a 90's post hardcore classic. that was just the best time for this kind of music and quicksand was one of the best bands of that era. Tobias Bruns

The verse "Can't even buy a coffee without exploiting someone" got me. It really hits hard. For the entire length of the album it felt like the end of the world.
But to be perfectly honest, it's just how life is these days. And it's fucked up. szczur
