Poor boy - last of your kind, born long before your time.
Lost boy - oh, this sorrow and regret, mark my words, they'll make a man of you yet.
So accept no fate, and get your story straight cause your mistakes will grow like cancers.
And the boys you've raised will come stand face-to-face with you someday and say
"dad, I demand answers."
And I'm calling on my brothers, screaming for my sisters
You can run but you won't get far - I'm calling all cars.
Gone girl - you are my sky, with the weight of the world behind your eyes.
Lost girl - when things fall apart I will stand at the altar of your heart.
I'll defend your name, keep the wolves at bay, when your beautiful dreams are shattered.
I'll take your side whether you're wrong or right, hey, for worse or for better.
I'm calling on my brothers, screaming for my sisters
You can run but you won't get far - I'm calling all cars
And I'm praying to my mother, afraid of my father,
In pursuit of your broken heart - I'm calling, calling all cars..
Come out, come out wherever you are.
You can run but you won't get far - I'm calling all cars.
I'm begging for my brothers, screaming for my sisters.
You can run but you won't get far - I'm calling all cars
And I'm praying to my mother, afraid of my father,
In pursuit of your broken heart - I'm calling, calling all cars..
My family drove in silence for the whole album, soaking up every song, on a road trip to visit family. The kids, now grown, grew up on Fugazi. As usual, we all get something different out of each song, but in conclusion, we agree- this is a rocking, listening experience worth sharing. We are also grateful for Amy Farina’s voice and percussion. What a great marriage of music! We hope for more <3

And HOW . . . as McFarlane usedta say. Best thing I did this Bandcamp Friday was try to pay back some really great Chaos.
When your buddies are your family. And you each handle an instrument or two with elan.
To wit, I'm sad as all twilight that I couldn't've partaken in these beautiful stubs of at least being given an opportunity to *actually support* the ones who grant you joie de vivre, before the drummer passed on.
Well, here's to all the "spins" I can get these folks . . . 🦋💖 Richard Delgado
